Who We Are

The Equity Action Project (EAP) strives to create a regional community of organizations and individuals that work to dismantle oppressive systems with the support of anti-racism facilitation experts and community-wide partnerships.

WHAT WE DO

The ultimate goal of the EAP is to support the development of more equitable organizations where positions of power are more representative of the region’s diversity. Through intensive trainings, ongoing alumni support, and our Equity Speaker Series we aim to develop a more equitable community.

Our History

We started with a 7-week training program to provide our community with the opportunity to become DEI and anti-racism advocates. Since then we’ve expanded beyond that to provide more ongoing support and opportunities to engage with anti-racism and equity experts.

Equity Speaker Series

The Equity Speaker Series was proudly launched and produced by MANAUS and TACAW in 2022 as part of the EAP. The community program provided access to experts in the realm of equity and anti-racism. The Series sought to advance equity efforts and conversations in the Roaring Fork Valley by presenting compelling speakers and sharing their stories and expertise.

what people are saying

The Equity Action Project was a worthy investment of staff and board members’ time. It helped elevate discussions we were having as an organization and gave us actionable steps to move those discussions forward. We were grateful for the opportunity to participate.
