We Love This Valley
We choose to focus our efforts in the Roaring Fork Valley because the needs are many and our connections here are deep. We are of this valley — we live here, play here, and dream here. And because of this community’s moderate size, our impacts are amplified and more visible than they would be in a major city. This helps us observe, learn quickly, and optimize our efforts.
We know that not everybody feels this sense of connection, however, and that is why our work is urgent. Immigrants and other mem-bers of this community stay outsiders long after they have arrived. They lack services, support, tools, mobility. But we want the Roaring Fork Valley to become a particular kind of success story —one where all-too-common problems have sprouted into un-common solutions.
