Our Plan for the Future

As we look to the future of the Equity Action Project we have some key goals in mind and intentional direction we’d like to take. Specifically, we aim to continue developing our region’s capacity to lead on equity and anti-racism.

In 2023 we're planning to:

  • Host consultants to present to the EAP alumni organizations and support them in furthering their efforts.

  • Schedule Equity Speaker Series events to connect and engage the broader community in conversations around equity and anti-racism.

  • Offer grant support for EAP alumni organizations that will aid with the development of their language access and language justice.

  • Organize a community equity symposium to connect experts and community leaders together.

  • Offer individual organization trainings to continue building our community’s shared language and capacity for continued equity work.

our Alumni Organizations

Projects that have been identified and developed by alumni after this training include: website and resource translation, adding new Latino/x voices to the organization (staff, volunteers, and board of directors), maintaining equity as a core value that guides the organization's strategic plan, creating equity benchmarks, creating a multi-year plan for power restructuring and active investment in staff of color, and more.
